Tutts Clump Rhubarb Cider – Winner of the Wantage Beer & Cider Festival 2020 This medium/sweet Real Cider is lovingly crafted in West Berkshire from a blend of apples before being infused with real rhubarb juice. May be enjoyed on any occasion to accompany a meal or on its own. PREMIUM CIDER

Sheppy’s Dabinett Apple Cider (6.5% ABV), is produced from a widely grown high quality commercial Somerset cider apple variety called Dabinett.   Dabinett is a single variety using a very high quality apple. This once was our best seller before I started blending the Vintage Reserve which has been slowly creeping up in sales over the years. We have won many awards for our Dabinett Cider and it’s one that my family and I are very proud of.  

TASTING NOTES

6.5% ABV

Always slightly distinctive in taste, this single variety  produces a cider with a smooth but full-bodied flavour with a smokey after-taste.  This is produced in a medium taste with a slight sparkle and goes well with pork or chicken dishes unless you want to savour the taste unaccompanied.

Sheppy’s Kingston Black Cider is produced from the increasingly rare old Somerset cider apple variety called Kingston Black, renowned for being one of the finest cider varieties in the world.   Sheppy’s Kingston Black Cider is produced from a now rare old Somerset cider apple variety called Kingston Black. Believed by Somerset cider-makers to be from Kingston St Mary near Taunton, it is renowned for being one of the world's  finest cider apple varieties. Kingston Black is a popular single variety cider with those who have a dry palate.

Sheppy's Classic Draught Cider

We have captured summer in a bottle with our Cider with Raspberry. It’s light and refreshing with not an artificial flavour in sight. Blended at home on the farm using a light, but traditional cider apple blend and pure raspberry juice, you will still know you are drinking cider. Not too sweet, and with a manageable ABV, this is perfect for a summer’s day. Like all of our ciders it has been fermented and matured naturally. For over 200 years the skill and craftsmanship of classic Somerset cider-making has been passed down through six generations of Sheppys.

200 SPECIAL EDITION CIDER

Rich's Vintage Somerset Cider is Golden in colour, lightly sparkling, with a fresh apple aroma. This full bodied vintage cider displays powerful apple flavours alongside warm caramel notes, a light tart finish leaves you wanting more.  

Our traditional Farmhouse Cider is made from the freshly pressed juice of locally grown cider apples. Varieties such as Dabinett, Kingston Black and Somerset Redstreak are blended to produce our full flavoured still cider. Aged in Oak Vats to produce a full rounded bodied taste.

Golden Harvest Medium Cider is our 4.5% ABV cider. It is a light, refreshing cider, slightly sparkling in our bottles or still in our boxes, with added apple juice which gives it a fruity aroma.
