Tales tell, when our ancestors needed to quench their thirst they would beseech ‘Shepton’, the great God of cider, to bestow upon them a perfectly balanced, easy-drinking pint, bursting with the sweet tang of finest Somerset apples. Legend has it that Shepton would call forth a whirlwind of ripe russets which he would smash and pulp with his mighty mallet until cider – the sweet nectar of the gods – was created.

We have captured summer in a bottle with our Cider with Raspberry. It’s light and refreshing with not an artificial flavour in sight. Blended at home on the farm using a light, but traditional cider apple blend and pure raspberry juice, you will still know you are drinking cider. Not too sweet, and with a manageable ABV, this is perfect for a summer’s day. Like all of our ciders it has been fermented and matured naturally. For over 200 years the skill and craftsmanship of classic Somerset cider-making has been passed down through six generations of Sheppys.

To make a quality product you have to source quality ingredients. Therefore, to ensure we use the finest cranberries we visited Wisconsin, America's cranberry county, to meet the producers and to get a real understanding of what it takes to produce these berries. A lovely crisp cider with cranberry and lime flavours coming through. The driest of our range, therefore the closest to the traditional ciders.

Forager is a taste sensation packed full of juicy hedgerow berries and bursting with flavour. Hidden gems of autumn hedgerows are paired with crisp Kentish apple cider. Not overly sweet with rich fruity character and notes of ripe pear to finish. Fruit cider just got an upgrade.
